Off to Singapore

I am flying again to Singapore tomorrow for an OCM Workshop.

Physically, i can travel now. My wound is better now but i still cannot carry heavy baggages so it means NO shopping .... on the second thought ... ill make it LESS shopping in Singapore. Probably just some pasalubongs for the kids. Well, i cannot go home without pasalubongs... this is the reason why the kids let me go abroad.

Mentally, i think i am not ready yet. I have not been working seriously since the start of my Maternity Leave so i may have a hard time catching up with the topics in the workshop... plus i have bouts of memory loss... i blame it all on the anesthesia. Pity me!

I also have fear of heights. I hate taking the plane in traveling... but well, if you want to have a fast transport, you really do not have a choice but to take the plane.

I might be in the airport earlier than i want to so that hubby will be able to watch the Pacquiao - Hatton fight. Who am i betting? I go for Hatton... i have always bet on Manny's opponents and Manny always win so am not changing it because as a Pinoy, id still want to see Manny win but my cheer is on Hatton... babae talaga ako noh, magulo ang isip.

Going back to my trip, i hope it wont rain tomorrow.... those air turbulence are pretty scary. I had a bumpy ride last December and i hope to have a less bumpy ride in this trip.

I am going to terribly miss the little one....moreso, there will be a disruption on our breastfeeding session.... and i will be in terrible breast pain when i am in Singapore - if you know what i mean!

Holy Week Marathon

I have been scrapping since holy Monday... I just finished a few and hopefully will add some more.

Ssshhhh.... let's pray for him

Our dear friend and officemate Gary Turreda passed away last night after battling lung cancer for the past 4 years. It's sad to hear that he loss the battle but we all know how strong he was in fighting it and in recovering.

The last time I was with Gary was last December 2007 during DHL's Christmas Party in Hyatt Hotel. He sat beside me in our table during dinner. We talked but not much. He was telling me then that he was already tired. His body was no longer reacting well to chemo-therapy...

So long Gary. I know you are now at peace. We will continue to pray for you and your family.
We will deeply miss you and thank you for being our friend.

1 Page only

Last weekend, my sister Mari invited the kids for another weekend stay in Quezon City. I have welcomed the invitation ... to give me some peace and quiet in the house. I was really planning to do some scrapping but the little girl had her tantrums. She just wanted to be carried so i was not able to scrap as i have expected to. Luckily, i was able to finish 1 page only. This is the first 12x12 page of Bernise.

Mini-Album for Bernise

Making a mini-album is the easiest when you need to compile pictures and make your story. I've done this when my son was born so i am doing it again for Bernise. The mini-album was part of the kit during the 1st Scrap Jam hosted by My Little Attic in Ayala Alabang...so the album must be 2 years old already...he,he,he. At least i got to use it na.

12 x 12 Pages .... At last !!!

Scrap pages at last. It was last October when I last scrapped.

These are the pages that I have finished during my first week of Maternity Leave... while waiting for the baby to come out. There were other pages that i have done that are too personal to be posted in the blog. I also made a mini-album for Bernise which i will post separately and another mini-album that is still on-going >>> well, at least for a year now. I hope i would be able to finish it this summer.

Anyway, here are the new lay-outs from me. Enjoy!!!
